Hi,
I have just finished reading 'The Tyrant' which is all about Dyonisis and Sicillian Greeks.
From my other readings it seems that the south of Italy was historically Greek and they brought the olive trees.

Is this history correct?

Hi,

I wasn't there at the time of course but it is firmly believed that the Chinese did invent pasta, only they used rice to make it with.

It is also widely accepted that Marco Polo introduced pasta into Italy where the inhabitants began to make it with wheat.
